Information and Communication Technology as
Communicative tool:
Information and Communication technology as
communicative tools allows efficient communication between teacher and
students, between student and students, or between teacher and parents to
discuss about the progress of the students learning or either beyond it
depending upon time, space and place. For example like, such as e-mail, and
online discussion forum are the examples of technology software we used for
communication.
Basically under the technology as communicative
tools we have learnt that there are two different types of communication namely
synchronous (real time) communication where two people must be connected
simultaneously at same time. This type of communication enables real time
communication that can also be used as instructional activities and helps
students to address their issues or problems and get solved immediately. Some
synchronous communicative tools are; telephone call, videoconferencing and etc…

The second
one is asynchronous where the people are not required to be logged on internet
at same time. This type of communication tools is tools is used if in case the
activities need longer time to think before responding. Examples like: e-mail,
we-chat and etc…
Moreover we have also learnt what, how and why blog
in education. Blog is an online journal or informational websites where a
writer or even a group of writer shares their views on specific subjects. Using
blog has adverse impact on children learning where it motivates students to
become better reader and writer, promote collaborative learning and promote
autonomous learning by making them control over their own learning.
